Delicate detergents also play a role in preserving items. For gentle care, special powders are required. It is best to use gels that contain emollients and rinse aid. Detergents should not contain aggressive substances such as chlorine, bleaches, and enzymes. This will preserve color and shape.

They should have a pleasant smell and light structure so that at low temperatures they can be easily rinsed out of materials without leaving streaks. The product should have a “Delicate Wash” symbol on it.
