First let's remove the engine

If you do not promptly replace worn carbon tips with new ones, the engine will deteriorate after a few washes. Installing a new motor is an extremely expensive procedure, and the cost of brushes is an order of magnitude lower. First of all, you need to remove the motor from the washer, in which the desired brushes are located. First, disconnect the machine from the power supply and provide free access to the back wall. Next we proceed to dismantling.

Using a screwdriver, remove the back wall of the case.
Pay attention to the bottom - the engine is located under the tank of the machine.
Remove the drive belt (at the same time turn the pulley and pull it towards you).
We release the electric motor from the strap.
We mark with a marker the location of suitable conductors.
Disconnect all wires (pull the corresponding connectors).
We unscrew the bolts or screws (from three to four pieces) and carefully remove the motor. Be prepared for the engine to be heavy.

We make a replacement

turn the motor on its side and unscrew the fixing screws;
we find brushes that are located on both sides of the body;
remove the brushes one by one by pressing the existing lever with a screwdriver.

Next, we carefully examine the details. If the protruding carbon part is less than 1.5 centimeters, then the problem is in the brushes, otherwise the problem of shaking and noise lies elsewhere. We clean the surface of the engine using “zero” sandpaper and a rag, removing abrasions, dust and scratches. We firmly screw the new brushes (these elements are always replaced in pairs, even if one of them is safe and sound).

The final point will be testing: turn on the spin or quick wash mode and listen. It is likely that at first the motor will run quite loudly until the installed brushes “grind in.” If you don’t hear any extraneous knocks or crackling sounds reminiscent of sand rubbing, it means the installation was done correctly.
