Where to pour conditioner in a Bosch washing machine?
Conditioner gives clean clothes a pleasant aroma and softness. However, the result may not always coincide with the manufacturer’s promises if the product is used incorrectly and poured in the wrong place. Let's look at where the air conditioner compartment is located in a Bosch washing machine, and give some recommendations for caring for the tray.
Suitable compartment
At first glance, it may seem that it does not matter which compartment you fill the liquid conditioner into. However, in fact, the washing machine “takes” detergents and other detergents one by one, depending on the stage of washing and the selected mode. The air conditioner is included in the process while rinsing the laundry.
The Bosch washing machine tray includes the following sections:
- main compartment for powder;
- compartment where to fill the air conditioner;
- compartment for washing powder for pre-washing.
Rinse aid should be poured into the section whose contents are used last. If you add detergent to the powder receptacle, it will be used up during the main wash and will be washed out of the clothes during rinsing. Thus, the air conditioner will be wasted.
Important! In Bosch technology, the rinse aid compartment stands out from the rest with its blue color and flower icon, and it is also slightly narrower.
Other manufacturers, as a rule, designate this part of the tray with a Roman numeral. If the pre-wash mode is not set, the powder is poured or poured into the compartment marked II. This capacity is constantly used.
Other tray compartments
It is impossible to confuse the air conditioning compartment; it is very different from the others and is located between two compartments of greater width. On the right is a compartment with the Roman numeral I, this is a container for powder during pre-wash. On the left is a tray with the number II, this is the main section for detergents, which is used in almost all washing modes.
If you do not pour or pour the washing composition into the powder receptacle, the laundry will simply be rinsed in ordinary water at a given temperature. The clothes will not wash, and you will have to start the machine again. The main powder compartment is much larger than the other compartments in the tray.
Keep the tray clean
The rinse aid tray requires constant care. Often the machine does not completely remove the air conditioner from the container due to mechanical damage, malfunctions and other reasons, so over time a deposit forms in it. If there are too many deposits, this affects the quality of the wash, since the detergent compositions are not supplied in the required quantities, so the laundry is not washed.
Tray cleaning options:
- remove the element from the machine, wipe or scrape off the resulting deposit;
- pour citric acid in granules into all compartments, run a single wash at the highest temperature;
- pour baking soda into the tray, add table vinegar, wait 15-20 minutes, rinse with running water and gently wipe with a dry cloth.
All of the above methods show high efficiency and allow you to keep the tray clean and prevent the appearance and spread of mold. Even if household chemicals do not accumulate in the compartments and do not form plaque, over time the part turns yellow, so regular preventative cleaning using any of the methods listed above is indicated.High-quality care guarantees the serviceability and durability of the washing machine.
