Washing time in an LG washing machine on different programs
After purchasing and installing a new washing machine, users try to get as much information as possible about the functionality of the “home assistant.” First of all, they are interested in what programs are stored in the intelligence memory, to what temperature the water is heated, how much the spin speed is adjusted, etc. In addition, many immediately try to find out how long each washing mode lasts. Let's look at the duration of cycles on LG washing machines.
What determines the cycle time?
The washing time in an LG washing machine can be adjusted even when selecting the same mode. The duration of the cycle will vary depending on the program settings: water heating temperature, spin intensity, number of rinse cycles. However, the instructions still provide for a standard duration.
The final execution time of the program largely depends on the user's mode settings.
For example, the cycle will always last longer when you connect the “Soak” function to the main mode (+20 minutes), the “Additional rinse” option (+ half an hour), when you increase the water heating temperature or the spin speed. Therefore, we can only talk about the standard cycle duration if the program settings are not changed by the user.
Duration of LG CM modes
To make the most of your washing machine's potential, you need to study the characteristics of all washing programs and find out what each additional function is intended for. You can get all the information regarding the functional “filling” of the washing machine in the instructions for the equipment. Let's figure out how long the machine works in different modes.
- "Cotton". The algorithm that users run more often than others. Optimal for caring for cotton items and natural fabrics mixed with polyester. The duration of the cycle when heating water to 90°C is one and a half to two hours. If you lower the degree, the program execution time will correspondingly decrease.
- "Synthetics". The algorithm is suitable for lightly soiled synthetic products. The water is heated to 40°C, the machine runs for 60 minutes.
- "Intense." Another one of the favorite modes of most users. Designed for washing clothes with a medium degree of soiling. Optimal for natural, mixed and synthetic fabrics. Cycle duration – 1 hour.
- "Baby's clothes." A distinctive feature of the algorithm is thorough rinsing. This mode runs for almost 2.5 hours. The water is heated to 60°C, washing occurs in a large volume of liquid. Things are rinsed in the drum several times - due to this, complete removal of particles of the detergent composition from the fabric fibers is achieved.
- "Hypoallergenic." Another mode that provides several rinsing cycles. The algorithm was invented for washing clothes of allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin. Water heating temperature – 60°C. The duration of the cycle is up to two hours.
- "Quick 30." A short program that gives you the opportunity to freshen things up. When selecting a function, it is important to ensure that the drum is at most half full. The algorithm lasts from 30 to 40 minutes, the duration depends on what temperature the water is heated to (30°C or 40°C) and what spin speed is selected. This mode is the most economical; the consumption of water and electricity when starting it is minimal.
- "Night wash"The function is provided to start the washing machine in the evening. Suitable for caring for lightly soiled items. The drum rotates smoothly, which ensures virtually silent operation of the equipment. Cycle duration – 45 minutes.
- "Cotton Quick." Another universal algorithm, suitable for washing cotton clothes with medium intensity of soiling. When the mode starts, the machine runs for 90 minutes.
- "Delicate wash". The algorithm was created for the care of delicate, “capricious” fabrics: satin, viscose, silk, lace. The cycle duration is 60 minutes, the water is heated to 40°C. The spin is performed at minimum speed.
- "Wool". A program designed for the care of woolen products and acrylic clothing. Spin is not provided within the algorithm and it will not be possible to connect it separately. This is necessary to avoid shrinkage or stretching of the material. Washing is done in water heated to 40°C and takes about an hour.
- "Sportswear". A separate option for the care of innovative membrane fabrics used in sewing sportswear. The water is heated to 60°C, the cycle duration is 54 minutes.
- "Duvet blanked". The function was invented for washing outerwear and sleeping accessories with synthetic and natural fillers. The algorithm is suitable for caring for jackets, pillows, and stroller mattresses. The water is heated to 40°C, and due to the low temperature it is possible to preserve the properties of the internal “filling” of the products. The cycle lasts one and a half hours.
- "Dark fabrics" An algorithm aimed at caring for colored laundry. To preserve the brightness of clothes, washing occurs at 30 degrees.
It is important to understand what fabrics this or that mode is intended for, then you will be able to preserve the appearance of things for a long time and at the same time ensure their high-quality washing.
Some models of LG washing machines have the “My Program” option. The user can write their own algorithm into the intelligence by adjusting the spin speed, heating temperature and number of rinses. The duration of the cycle will be individual.
So, in different modes, the operating time of the ElG machine varies. On average, a standard cycle lasts 1-1.5 hours. For convenience, a thirty-minute washing algorithm is also provided.
Aren't sportswear washed at 30 degrees? Well, I’m talking about the “Sportswear” mode. 60 degrees for modern sportswear fabrics?
The most disgusting machine I have ever seen, very inconvenient and with abnormal programs and approximate washing times. There is nothing better than Indesit
