Turning on the Dexp dishwasher
In fact, turning on the Dexp dishwasher is quite simple, as is starting the washing program. Simply plug the power cord into the outlet, and then press the “Power” button. Then select the desired program and press the “Start/Stop” button. Everything seems to be simple and clear. But let's not limit ourselves to such a superficial answer. After all, before you turn on the machine and start the wash, you should perform a number of preliminary steps. This is what we will talk about in this article.
Why run PMM without dishes?
Before loading the dishwasher with dishes and starting its full operation, the manufacturer recommends running it in test mode, that is, performing an idle start. Not all users consider this advisable, but they are wrong. To support our words, we will give several arguments that will clearly demonstrate that a dry start is necessary.
- During the first flushing of the equipment with water, debris that may accidentally get into it during installation, as well as lubricant residues, is removed.
- A test run allows you to make sure that water is drawn in quickly, warms up well, and is completely drained after the end of the cycle, and to check whether the drying is carried out efficiently. That is, this makes it possible to find out whether the machine is functioning properly.
- This is also an opportunity to ensure that the equipment is installed correctly. There are examples when, during installation, an electrical wire was crushed by furniture, so the unit could not even be started.
Note! Some people believe that you should not put detergent in the dishwasher during a test run. This is a common mistake. Remember, it is imperative to use salt and detergent!
To find the salt compartment, you need to pull out the lower basket; it is located at the bottom of the unit. Remove the lid and pour salt into the compartment, then add about 2/3 more of the one and a half kilogram pack, but make sure that the reservoir is filled, it should not be overfilled. When you add salt, excess liquid will flow into the tank, this is not a big deal.
Next, you should decide what product you will use to wash the dishes. For each of these products there are special compartments on the inside of the door. Then you should turn on the Dexp dishwasher and set the appropriate program.
In addition, even before starting the wash, you need to select the water hardness parameters; this characteristic affects the amount of salt consumption. To determine hardness, you can use test strips (this is the simplest option), and you can also check the information at your local Vodokanal. All that remains is to select the desired mode and click “Start”.
We launch PMM in normal mode
The test run is completed, everything went fine, and the dishwasher is working properly. However, do not rush to immediately load it with dishes and start the wash. You should wait a bit for it to cool down.
Important! Running the equipment too frequently can overload the heating element and pump.
After some time, when the dishwasher has cooled down, place the dishes in it. It must first be cleared of food residues. Load detergent into the appropriate compartment.Rinse aid and salt are already in the compartments, in most cases they last for a couple of months. The quality of washing will be maximum if you make sure that the dishes and cutlery are correctly placed in the baskets, and that nothing interferes with the access of water to any area of the chamber and the movement of the rocker. After you make sure that everything is in its place, you need to select the program and click the “Start” button.
When you start the machine for the first time, the process of stacking dishes may take you longer. However, don't worry about this, soon you will do it automatically. And the amount of free time that will appear after purchasing such an “assistant” will pleasantly surprise you.
Basic rules for operating PMM Dexp
In the future, when using the dishwasher, follow the rules and precautions specified in the instructions. Thanks to this, your equipment will last longer.
- While the equipment is operating, touching it with wet hands is prohibited.
- If possible, try not to use an extension cord or adapter when connecting the dishwasher.
- Keep children away from control buttons.
- Make sure that no foreign objects get inside the machine.
- Don't forget to regularly wash the cleaning filters to remove food and grease. Be sure to check that food does not accumulate at the junction with the chamber under the door.
Treat your dishwasher with care, because its value increases every day. And for those who are already accustomed to using such equipment, it will be difficult to do without it.
