Important! Each dryer comes with detailed instructions for installing it on a washing machine using the included fasteners.
Installing a dryer on a washing machine
By installing the dryer on the “washing machine”, you can simplify the process of transferring damp, just washed items. However, before this, you should check that the washing machine is installed correctly: it should be level, preferably on a concrete floor. In this case, carpet, linoleum or other flooring options will contribute to increased vibration and rapid failure of the unit. If the floor in the room is wooden, it is worth strengthening it additionally. For this it is recommended to use special slats.
After precise horizontal installation of the washing machine, you need to install a special tray of suitable size on it. It must be firmly secured with bolts. Next, apply a layer of high-quality rubber seal - it will help eliminate vibration of the upper device when the lower one is operating.
When installing the dryer, you need to make sure that its legs fit neatly into the four grooves (notches). This complex and important stage should be given special attention, because the safety of using drying equipment, the safety of property and the well-being of residents will depend on its correct implementation. After installation is completed, the external grooves are sealed with plugs.
As has already become clear, it is under no circumstances possible to install machines on top of each other in a column without using strong fasteners, otherwise during operation of one of them an accident will occur and the structure will simply fall apart. This may also damage the electrical cord. In this case, along with the flood, a short circuit will occur, leading to a fire.
Everyone can choose one of two available ways to secure the dryer: using fasteners (they are sold complete with the dryer) or using additional slats (they are mounted on the wall of the room directly above the washing machine). It has been noticed that the second of these methods is used extremely rarely.
