However, before you start, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the rules that you will need to follow in the process.
Preparatory operations
It is first necessary to allocate a place where the equipment will be located and free up some communications. Usually the unit is located in the bathroom or kitchen, and the required area is left in advance, at the stage of renovation of the room. The base for the washing machine is selected to be level and durable. The installation itself begins with preparing the machine.
The equipment should be freed from its original packaging. You cannot tear the packaging and throw away its contents - foam plastic, which is used to cover sharp corners. The whole box makes it possible to return and exchange the machine if it suddenly breaks during the warranty period.
There are instructions in the box - be sure to read them. Check whether all components stated in the technical documentation are available. The next sequence of actions is as follows:
turn the machine with the back wall towards you;
unscrew the transport bolts;
plug the holes that appear with plugs (included in the kit);
open the powder tray, hatch door and look for foreign objects inside (if any, they should be removed).
On the front wall of the machine, at the very bottom, there is a small round cover. Opening it, you will find a drain filter. Check if it is screwed in all the way.
Important! Connection points to the water supply and sewerage should be no further than one and a half meters from the unit body.
For the next step, prepare FUM tape, an adjustable wrench, pliers, and automotive sealant. A building level will also come in handy. Please note that in front of the machine there should be no cabinets, unnecessary interior items, or anything that would interfere with fully opening the washing machine hatch.
Filling and dumping water
Install the housing at building level. Check the position of the machine until it is perfectly level. If necessary, you can tighten the legs. After that, start connecting.
To connect the inlet hose to the communications, you need to install a tee tap on the water supply with a ¾-inch outlet. We screw the free end of the hose to the tee, and manually tighten the plastic screw located on it. This is the usual connection diagram: tee - siphon fitting - socket. If you know of other options, you can use them.
In this case, you cannot use an adjustable wrench - you will break the thread and ruin the inlet hose screw.
After making sure that all elements are securely connected, remove the plug from the siphon fitting and put the drain hose on it. You should first coat the fitting with sealant or tighten the joint with a clamp. Some people don’t bother and just throw the hose into the sink or bathtub. This solution, of course, is not very aesthetically pleasing, but it also has a right to life.
Power supply for equipment
It is better to deal with electricity in advance, before purchasing. Call an electrician to your home or install an outlet yourself in the kitchen or bathroom (depending on where you plan to place the equipment). A special socket is purchased, with a moisture-proof casing.Pay special attention to the quality of the outlet you will install in the bathroom.
The electrical wire must have three wires - zero, phase, ground. A voltage of 110 volts appears on the body of an ungrounded unit, so grounding is mandatory, thereby protecting yourself from electric shock. In addition, in the absence of grounding, modern equipment usually fails very quickly.
The remaining two wires are connected to the machine and the automatic switch, and only after that - to the panel. Under no circumstances should you connect the washing machine to electricity through tees and extension cords! A low-quality “pilot” with weak contacts can cause a fire.
Once you have been able to install the machine yourself, it is time to test it. Insert the power cord plug into the outlet. Open the tap and turn on the quick mode (test wash is carried out without laundry and washing powder). If the program worked correctly, then everything is in order. Now you can fully exploit your “home assistant”.

To remotely start the machine, install the My Electrolux Care application on your smartphone or any other pocket electronic device. Through it, you can not only give commands to the machine, but also monitor the execution of the program while being far from home.
How does the gadget connect to the Electrolux washing machine? Download the application from Google Play or App Store and launch it. Select your language and country, then:
create an account;
in the top (Android) or bottom (iOS) menu, open the “Devices” tab;
click on the plus to add your unit;
select your product type from the list;
check whether your login and password are stored on your home network.
Then turn on Wi-Fi on your device. To do this, find the “Setting up a Wi-Fi connection” section in the user manual. The basic setup steps are general, but some steps are OS specific Android, and some for AppleiOS. Once Wi-Fi is connected, click Home.
