How to remove moisture from chiffon?

Chiffon dries almost instantly. As soon as the water drains, the fabric becomes almost dry. Drying the product on a radiator, heater, near an open fire or using a hairdryer is strictly prohibited, otherwise the fabric will be deformed, but this is not required.

If you want to leave the item to dry outdoors, place it in the shade to protect it from direct sunlight, otherwise this may negatively affect the appearance of the item.

Clothespins cause creases on chiffon, so under no circumstances use them when drying.

If you have the opportunity to hang the item to dry on hangers, then you should take advantage of it.If there are no hangers or the item is not suitable for this, you can dry the item in a horizontal position, laying it out on a towel. Dry clothes with buttons buttoned up.

How to iron correctly?

Even regularly using ironing for many years, you can face the bitter experience of ironing chiffon, this fabric is very capricious. To avoid damaging the product at the last stage, follow the following rules.

Chiffon items are ironed while wet, as it is very difficult to iron them after drying.
You cannot splash water on the fabric and then immediately use the iron, as you will burn the product. It is permissible to use iron steaming only through several layers of gauze and from a distance of at least 30 centimeters.
Iron temperature 60-120 degrees.
Be sure to place some kind of non-fading cotton sheet under the iron.
