Malyutka washing machines with spin

Little carSmall activator-type washing machines that are easy to carry and transport from place to place are called “Malyutka”. The name of a specific model of equipment has become a general name for all miniature washing machines. What is a Malyutka washing machine with spin and how to use it, let’s figure it out together.

Design Features

Babies are semi-automatic washing machines consisting of a plastic tank with a lid, an activator and a mechanical control unit. The main function of this technique is washing. Although in the tank you can not only wash clothes, but also rinse them if you change the water. The smallest machines in this series have a tank capacity of 20 liters of water and are designed for washing 2-3 kg of laundry.

The machine is so primitive that it does not have different washing modes, there is only one program. The only thing that can be changed in this program is the duration. This is done by turning the timer knob. In addition, some machines provide reverse. This means that the activator can rotate either clockwise or counterclockwise.

The reverse movement of the activator prevents the laundry from twisting during washing and wearing out.

Spin machine models

Almost all small-sized machines do not have a spin cycle, but there are still several models with this function. Spinning is carried out by a centrifuge, which is inserted into the tank. We present these models:

  • Rolsen WVL-300S is a machine measuring 37x51x37 cm, with a capacity of 3 kg of dry laundry. The spin speed in this machine is no more than 300 rpm.

  • Vimar VWM-44 is a machine that does not require connection to a water supply. Has a centrifuge for spinning.The capacity of this model is 4 kg of dry laundry.
    Vimar VWM-44
  • Vimar VWM-63 is a washing machine similar to the previous model. The main difference is the maximum load, which is 6 kg of laundry.
    Vimar VWM63
  • Evgo EWA-2511 is an activator mini machine with electronic control. Loading capacity is no more than 2.5 kg. What distinguishes this machine from others is the presence of a built-in drum with holes. “Bubble” washing is higher quality and more effective. The spin speed is 850 rpm.

Advantages and disadvantages

Why are such washing machines still in demand and on the market? It's all about the undeniable advantages that users note on the forums, leaving washing machine reviews:

  • small size - this makes it easy to carry and transport the machine, find a place for storage;
  • short wash cycle - total time does not exceed 15 minutes, including rinsing and spinning;
  • low power consumption;
  • simplicity of design, which means reliability. This type of equipment lasts a long time and rarely breaks down. And if it breaks, it can be easily repaired or replaced with a new one;
  • reasonable price, which varies from 20 to 45 $;
  • does not require sewerage or water supply, so it can be used in the country.

Automatic washing machines have practically forced the Malyutka washing machine out of the market, as it has disadvantages:

  • you need to monitor the washing process all the time;
  • The load volume is too small, it is impossible to wash and spin large items;
  • lack of various modes for washing different types of fabric;
  • high water consumption, the need to heat water in a separate container.

How to use

Using this technique is as easy as shelling pears. Even if you do not have instructions, you will understand the unit intuitively. The operating principle is as follows:

  1. Install the machine above the bathtub or on the floor.
  2. Fill the machine with water heated to the desired temperature.
  3. Pour in washing powder according to the dosage indicated on the package.
  4. Place the laundry and close the machine with the lid.
  5. Plug in the machine and turn the timer for 7-10 minutes.

    If necessary, you can repeat the wash cycle. But do not start the machine right away, wait a little, let the laundry stand in the water, otherwise the motor may overheat.

  6. We take things out of the washing machine. We are laying a second batch of things, for example dark ones. If there are no thingswashing machine baby or the water is dirty, then drain it through a hose into a bucket.
  7. We collect clean warm water and add washed clothes for rinsing.
  8. Turn the timer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. We take out the laundry and drain the water.
  10. We install a centrifuge at the bottom of the tank.
  11. We lay things down, dividing them into several parts. This is necessary to avoid overload.
  12. We take out the wrung out things.
  13. We wipe the machine from the inside and outside and put it in storage.

Thus, the Malyutka washing machine is a good helper around the house when it is not possible to buy an automatic machine. It’s better to wash in a Malyutka than with your hands in a basin.
