Washing modes in the Hansa washing machine
Hansa washing machines attract not only with their thoughtful design and functionality, but also with an impressive range of programs. The manufacturer has put together the most useful modes, making the use of the machine convenient and the quality of washing high. The owner can only select the appropriate position and start the cycle. We suggest looking at the main washing modes in the Hansa washing machine and instructions for setting them up. All algorithms and descriptions are below.
Description of the main modes
For user convenience, modern washing machines have a number of preset programs, and Hansa is no exception. Each machine of this brand offers the user from 10 modes designed for different types and colors of fabric. In addition to popular algorithms, there are also unique options. Let's look at all the positions on the washing machine's dashboard.
- Cotton. High-temperature program with heating of water in the tank to 60-90 degrees. Suitable for washing cotton and calico linen of any degree of soiling - with boiling, spinning at 1000 rpm and a cycle of 96 minutes, everything is washed. The drum can be filled to the maximum, as well as pre-soaking and double rinsing. Ideal for bedding, towels, tablecloths and shirts.
- Synthetics. A separate mode for washing items made from synthetic fabrics. Parameters: temperature 40-60, spin 800 and drum half loaded.
- Wool. Included for wool and knitted items. Thanks to water up to 40 degrees, gentle spinning and slow rotation of the motor, the material does not deform and remains soft and elastic. For most of the hour-long cycle, the machine is motionless.It is recommended to load no more than a third of the drum.
Hansa washing machines have an “Express 23” spin cycle, where you can completely wash, rinse and spin clothes in 23 minutes.
- Express 23. Accelerated cycle for surface washing of items. The water in the tank is heated to 30-40 degrees, and the spin cycle is set to maximum. Suitable for clothes made of cotton, synthetics and knitwear. Pre-wash cannot be activated, but additional rinsing can be done. Lasts exactly 23 minutes.
- Handwash. It takes place in cold water and with a spin speed of up to 600 rpm for 34 minutes. Maximum load – 1.5 kg. The drum rotates smoothly, ensuring gentle cleaning. If desired, you can enable the double rinse function.
- Various fabrics. Similar to the “Mixed Fabrics” mode of other brands. Allows you to wash cotton and synthetics at the same time. The cycle parameters are universal: heat from 40 to 60 and spin up to 1000. Additional rinse and pre-wash are available.
- Baby Comfort. High temperature wash at 60-90 degrees for washing children's clothes. Provides high-quality stain removal and complete rinsing of detergent. The default duration is 151 minutes, but the time can be reduced as the temperature decreases.
- Jeans. Separate program for cleaning denim products. Also suitable for materials of similar density. Optimal conditions are created for denim: heating to 60-90 degrees and maximum spin. There are no restrictions on loading the tank - you can wash a full drum. The cycle lasts for about half an hour.
- Daily wash. A universal algorithm for washing everyday items - pajamas, T-shirts and home suits. Suitable for all types of fabric.The temperature is set to 40, and the spin can be varied from 0 to maximum. It is better to wash in a half load and include an extra rinse.
- Wash without rinsing. Here the spin is automatically turned off and the double rinse function is blocked. Heating is set in the range of 40-90, and if desired, pre-wash is activated. The cycle lasts 32 minutes.
- Rinsing. A standard option that allows you to rinse your laundry without washing. Lasts about 15 minutes and assumes maximum spin by default. When turned on, an antistatic agent, rinse aid, softener or conditioner are added to the powder receptacle.
- Drain. When the position is activated, water is pumped out of the machine in 1-2 minutes. Spin is not provided and, if necessary, is activated separately.
- Spin. You can turn it on separately by adjusting the drum rotation speed from 400 to maximum. It starts if the mode does not include spinning, for example, after hand washing. Duration – 8 minutes.
It is recommended to wash woolen items separately on a special cycle.
There are two special programs on Hansa washing machines: “Auto Cleaning” and “Intensive Wash”. The first is an algorithm during which the machine washes itself, or more precisely, the drum and the inner surface of the tank. Cleaning is carried out at 95 degrees, empty and with the addition of a special cleaner. The second mode is indispensable for washing heavily soiled clothes. Here the cycle is divided into two stages. First, the machine spins the laundry in warm water to activate enzymes, and then heats up to 60 for comprehensive stain removal.
How to choose whether to start or delay the wash?
Washing machines from Hansa are distinguished by clear, intuitive controls.To select the desired mode, simply turn the programmer to the appropriate position clockwise. The system will automatically set the cycle parameters: temperature, spin speed and duration. If desired, the specified values can be adjusted, as well as additional options can be connected.
Modern machines offer to set the wash to start at a certain time. This way you can get clean laundry right before you wake up or return from work. To use the function, you must:
- select the desired program with the programmer;
- change cycle parameters and enable additional options;
- click on the “Delay start” button;
- set the delay time (from 1 hour to 24);
- press the “Start/Pause” key.
After pressing the start button, the washing machine will go into standby mode. The cycle will automatically start at the scheduled time. Models with a display show a countdown timer on the display.
The washing machine must be disconnected from the power supply after use.
To cancel a running wash and change the program, you must first turn the programmer to the “Off” position. Afterwards, the selector selects another mode and starts a new cycle.
As soon as the cycle is completed, Hansa will signal the end of the program with an audible signal. The user will only have to wait for the door to unlock, open the drum and remove things. If necessary, start the next wash. If the wash is finished, the washing machine must be turned off completely. To do this, you need to move the programmer to the “OFF” position, turn off the water supply tap and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
