Let’s figure out what the “Fast 30” mode is and what types of clothes it is suitable for washing. We will also look at the advantages, disadvantages of the algorithm and its possible adjustments.

How does the thirty-minute algorithm work?

“Quick 30” on the LG washing machine is an accelerated version of a regular wash. In half an hour, the machine manages to wash, rinse and spin the item; the maximum wait is 40 minutes. True, you shouldn’t expect strong cleaning: the algorithm is designed to only refresh things, eliminate minor dirt and mild odors. It is useless to try to remove difficult stains - it is better to choose high-temperature “Cotton”, “Intensive” or “Preliminary”.

When the fast mode is activated, the LG washing machine sets the standard settings:

spin – 800 rpm;
heating temperature – 30 degrees;
Washing duration: 30 minutes.

If desired, the factory settings can be adjusted, but within the limits determined by the system. The temperature is limited to 40 degrees, leaving the user with three heating options: “40”, “30” and “Cold water”. It will not be possible to warm up the machine any more - a fast cycle does not imply long-term operation of the heating element. But the spin can be set to any speed, from 0 to 1000 rpm.

The main advantage of the fast mode is speed.In order to save time, the drum rotates constantly, starting from the moment of starting and drawing water. At the same time, the rotations are strong, sharp, and the trajectory of the cylinder is constantly changing: now to the left, now to the right. Thanks to this “pendulum”, things quickly get wet and are washed better. The advantages include savings: there is no need to run a long cycle to remove small stains.

The accelerated program also has disadvantages. The main one is the average quality of washing. In half an hour in lukewarm water, the detergent does not have time to cope with severe stains. The solution to the problem is to pre-wash the stains on your hands and then start the fast mode.

Other algorithms in LG’s “arsenal”

“Fast 30” is not the only program on LG washing machines. For the convenience of users, manufacturers have equipped models with a number of modes designed for certain types of fabric. All that remains is to select a button, check the automatically set settings and start a high-quality wash.

Cotton. The hottest mode, where the water heating temperature can reach 95 degrees. Thanks to boiling and multidirectional movements of the drum, heavy stains on thick fabrics - cotton, linen and chintz - are washed out here. The wash lasts about 105-120 minutes.
Cotton Fast. Represents an accelerated version of the previous program. Cycle duration is reduced by limiting heating to 60 degrees.
Everyday wash. On some LG models it is called “Synthetic”. Mixed items made from artificial fabrics, polyester, acrylic and elastane are washed here. Temperature – up to 40 degrees, spin – 800, duration – 110 minutes.
Silent washing.When this program is turned on, the engine runs as quietly as possible, and the level of vibrations is also reduced. This allows you to run the machine at night to clean lightly soiled items.
Baby's clothes. Designed specifically for cleaning children's clothes and includes abundant rinsing and heating water up to 60 degrees. As a result, the fabric is washed from any stains, disinfected and completely rinsed from detergent. The cycle lasts 140 minutes.
Delicate. An indispensable mode for washing blouses, lace, tulle and underwear. The temperature is limited to 30 degrees, and the cycle is designed for an hour.
Refresh. A feature reminiscent of "Fast 30". The main difference is that there is no washing: when the option is activated, the steam generator is turned on, producing humidified hot air. Twenty minutes of steam treatment removes light stains and smoothes the fabric.
Duvet blanked. The program is designed for washing bulky items filled with down, feathers, hollafiber - pillows, down jackets and bedspreads.
Biocare. A function designed to remove protein stains. It involves strong heating of water, so it is only suitable for delicate fabrics. Duration – 15 minutes.
Hypoallergenic wash. By heating at 60 degrees and rinsing generously, the item gets rid of allergens: dust, hair and mites.
Intensive 60. Washing takes an hour at 60 degrees. The difference is reduced energy consumption.
My program. If necessary, the user can configure and save his own mode by selecting the most suitable cycle parameters.
