remove the rear top panel of the machine by unscrewing the screws holding it;
remove the power hose connected to the solenoid valve;
unscrew the base panel of the dishwasher;
unscrew the legs of the PMM;
disconnect the connectors connected to the float of the Aquastop system;
remove the entire back wall of the machine;
remove the water supply valve to perform diagnostics (to do this, remove it from its seat and disconnect it from the filler pipe).

In some cases, the solenoid valve becomes clogged from the water supply. If so, clean the strainer. After dismantling, the device is checked with a multimeter; the tester must be switched to resistance measurement mode.

A multimeter probe is applied to the intake valve contact to measure the revolution value. It should be more than 3 kOhm. In this case, the part is in normal working condition.

Having identified a malfunction, do not try to repair the water supply valve. The inlet device cannot be repaired. You will need to purchase a new part. The cost of the item will depend on the dishwasher model.

It is better to purchase original components for PMM - their service life will be longer.

After installing the new water supply valve, reassemble the dishwasher in reverse order. Connect the filler pipe to it, return the legs and the rear panel of the case to their place. Then run the test cycle and observe the operation of the PMM. If the problem is resolved, water will begin to flow into the chamber.

How to extend valve life?

It is up to users to prevent premature failure of the water supply valve. To do this, you must follow the operating rules specified in the equipment instructions. Among them are recommendations:

install a voltage stabilizer (it will protect the intake valve from burnout as a result of voltage surges in the network);
install a water filter (the device will prevent water debris from entering the PMM).

Manufacturers strongly recommend installing an additional filter in front of the dishwasher entrance.
