Professional and industrial dishwashers
If you are or are planning to become the owner of a canteen, cafe, restaurant or large hotel, then you cannot do without professional equipment that will help improve the quality of service and, accordingly, gain an advantage over competitors. Types of industrial "dishwashers"

Front-type dishwashers have a limited loading capacity. Usually their productivity does not exceed 800-900 items per hour, but this quantity is sometimes enough to serve 3 small cafes at once. A front-facing dishwasher is very similar to a household dishwasher, the only difference is in size.
A dome-type dishwasher differs from a front-facing dishwasher in its larger size. Tables with a sink and an impressive sorting surface are attached to the body of such a machine on the sides. When loading dishes, the main part of the dome “dishwasher” body is divided into two parts: the base and the dome. In the upper part of the base there is a niche resembling a sink; a basket of dishes is placed in it, then this niche is covered with a dome and the washing mode is set. Productivity reaches 1500 items per hour.
Tunnel type dishwashers are considered the most productive. Under certain conditions, such machines are capable of washing up to 2-2.5 thousand items per hour. These are conveyor-type machines, that is, the dishes are pre-packed into special cassette trays, each of which is the size of a small box. The cassettes are installed on the conveyor and gradually move towards the washing and then drying tank.
Dishwashers of such high performance are installed in canteens at large enterprises, in large hotels, business centers, and in large catering establishments. To install such a “miracle of technology” you will need an area of about 15 square meters. m.
Important! Operating a tunnel-type dishwasher will require human presence as dishes need to be placed on a conveyor and then taken out of the tanks.
How does an industrial “dishwasher” differ from a household one?
As noted above, front-type industrial “dishwashers” are very similar to ordinary household dishwashers. What is the difference between them then, besides the price? After all, for a professional dishwasher you will have to pay an amount four times higher than the cost of a household machine.
- A professional machine differs from a household one in the size and capacity of the tank.
- Professional machines are made from very reliable elements, each of which is designed for a significant working life. For example, a household washing machine may have a weak plastic sprinkler, but in a professional washing machine this element consists of stainless steel.
- An industrial dishwasher can wash tens of times more dishes than a household dishwasher.
- To connect an industrial “dishwasher”, special communications may be required - a water supply system with a certain capacity and an industrial electrical network.
Note! Not all industrial dishwashers have a fully automated dishwashing process.
Some entrepreneurs naively believe that they can equip their small cafe with several household dishwashers, and they will cope with the task. It may well be that at first this will be the case, but then the wear and tear of the equipment will take its toll and they will have to constantly pay for the services of repairmen.
