Poplin with wool and silk threads is bleached in a more gentle manner. In 5 liters of water heated to 20 degrees, add 50 m of delicate washing gel, and after it dissolves, add 3 tbsp. fine table salt and pour in 1 tsp. peroxide and ammonia. The laundry is dipped into the resulting solution and left in it for 3-4 hours. Afterwards the bedding is rinsed and sent to dry.

Traditional care

Washing poplin bedding by hand is difficult and troublesome, but it is quite possible to remove minor stains. It is necessary to fill a basin with warm water, dissolve the detergent and dip the laundry in the soapy solution. The fabric is thoroughly soaked and left to soak for twenty minutes.
