Using a Vestel washing machine
It won’t take much time to figure out how to use a Vestel washing machine. Most modern machines are controlled the same way, have similar dashboards and a standard list of programs. If you previously had any “vertical” or “front” at home, then there will be no problems - everything is quite typical. But there is no need to get acquainted with a new brand “at random” - it is better to clarify the nuances and features of Vestel in advance. Our instructions with an overview of programs and options will come in handy.
Start using it correctly
Getting to know any washing machine begins with studying the factory instructions. It explains the dashboard icons, describes all the modes and provides rules for using the equipment. You should not neglect the user manual - with it the machine will last longer and will wash better.
Before starting your Vestel washing machine, be sure to read the factory instructions!
An important nuance is the first launch of Vestel. Immediately after installing new equipment, you cannot wash clothes in it: first you need to “run” the equipment idle. This means that any high-temperature mode with detergent is started, but with an empty drum. Thus, the machine will be cleaned of factory grease and checked for serviceability. After a successful start, we proceed to regular laundry with laundry. The instructions are:
- connect Vestel to the power grid;
- load a batch of laundry into the drum (we focus on the minimum and maximum capacity of the washing machine);
- close the hatch door tightly (you should hear a click when the lock is activated);
- Fill the desired dispenser compartment with detergent;
- press the network button;
- scroll the programmer to the appropriate washing mode;
- adjust the factory cycle settings if required;
- activate the cycle by pressing “Start/Pause”.
Nothing more is required from the user - the machine will do everything itself. After pressing the start button, the system will begin washing: it will fill the drum, wash, rinse and spin the items. The technician will indicate the end of the work with a sound signal. But don’t rush to get your laundry out – the hatch will unlock 2-3 minutes after the melody.
Explore the suite of programs
Using a Vestel washing machine will be even easier if you immediately learn all the programs and options provided. Modern technology has a predetermined set of modes designed specifically for certain types and colors of fabric. You just need to turn the programmer to the desired position, and the machine itself will set the optimal washing conditions. As a rule, all Vestel brand washing machines have the following programs.
- Cotton. A mode designed for cleaning cotton, calico and linen: bed linen, pajamas, shirts and towels. The water heats up to 60-90 degrees, and during the spin cycle the drum accelerates to maximum speed. The duration of the cycle varies from 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
- Synthetics. Program for washing synthetic and mixed fabrics, which provides optimal conditions for artificial fibers. The water temperature does not exceed 40-60 degrees, the drum spins up to full power, and the cycle time is limited to 1-2 hours.
- Preliminary. Selected if the laundry is heavily soiled. In this case, the items are first soaked and washed for about an hour, after which the main cycle automatically starts. An important nuance: you need to add detergent to the special compartment of the dispenser.
- Delicate.Provides the most gentle cleaning of thin fabrics, silk, satin, lace, organza. The washing machine slowly rotates the drum, takes in more water and does not heat up above 30 degrees. The program lasts about 60 minutes.
- Intense. Used to clean heavily soiled items. Due to heating up to 95 degrees, sharp rotation of the drum and a two-hour duration, even old stains are removed. The main thing is to wash only durable fabrics that are resistant to high temperatures and friction.
- Express wash. “Lightweight” cycle, with which you can freshen and wash clothes in 15-45 minutes. But due to the speed, the water does not heat up much: a maximum of 30-40 degrees.
- Children's room. It assumes optimal cycle parameters for cleaning children's clothes: high temperature, copious rinsing and intense rotation of the drum. Allows you to wash difficult stains and disinfect linen.
- Sport. It's simple: the mode is activated for sportswear, thermal underwear and other products made of membrane, spandex and stretch. Balanced cycle parameters cleanse the fabric and eliminate sweat odors, while maintaining the breathability of the material. It is also allowed to include a program for machine cleaning of sneakers.
- Night. The machine operates as quietly as possible - without sound or noisy spinning.
The night program will ensure quiet washing of clothes!
- Biophase. Designed for removing stains of organic origin. It is important to add special enzyme-based products when starting the program.
- Easy ironing. Thanks to the smooth rotation of the drum and slow spin, things wrinkle less and remain moist. As a result, wrinkles are minimal and almost no ironing is required.
- Rinsing. The ability to additionally rinse things to remove any remaining dirt or powder.
- Spin. Repeated spinning of the drum, allowing you to better squeeze things out. Lasts about 5 minutes.
This is a basic set of programs. Some modern models from Vestel provide special or advanced modes. In addition to them, the system is supplemented with useful options - the full list can be found in the factory instructions. Here is a description of the functions, their duration and effect.
