General procedure for using PMM

This means that there should not be any dishes in it, the machine will operate empty. This is necessary in order to:

rinse the PMM after assembly at the factory, since traces of oil, dust, and generally dirt from hands during assembly remain in it;
check the quality of the connection to the water supply and drainage, as well as the operation of the machine as a whole and its individual stages.

Only after idle mode can you start washing dishes. Before filling the baskets with dishes, you need to pour salt for PMM into a special hopper at the bottom of the machine. Place a tablet or powder into the detergent dispenser, and pour rinse aid for PMM into the adjacent compartment. Then place the dishes in the baskets, we will tell you more about this later, select the washing program, turn it on and close the door. All that remains is to wait for the result.

Features of storing dishes

At first glance, it may seem that putting dishes in the dishwasher is simple. Do it intuitively and that's it.But in fact, the result of washing will depend on how the dishes are arranged. Pans, pots, plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs - everything should be in its place. Otherwise, you will think that the dishwasher is not doing its job well, but it’s your fault.

Almost all Candy PMMs have two baskets for dishes and a basket for cutlery. Small utensils are placed in the upper basket: saucers, mugs, bowls and others. In the bottom are large items: frying pans, pots, baking sheets, large plates. If the baskets are adjustable in height, choose the optimal position so that the water will wet the dishes evenly on all sides.

To increase the space in the lower basket, you can fold the vertical holders, which are provided in many Candy PMM models.

Cutlery (forks, spoons, small spatulas) are placed in a special removable tray in a vertical position. In rare cases, there are special metal trays designed for silver appliances; as a rule, these are premium dishwashers. clean the dishes from food debris, seeds, napkins, pieces of food, etc., otherwise the garbage filter will become clogged while washing the dishes;
Rinse very dirty or greasy dishes with hot water under the tap before placing them in the machine, especially those that do not have a pre-rinse or pre-soak option. This will significantly improve the quality of dishwashing;
load large dishes first, filling the lower basket, then small ones;
arrange plates, tureens, salad bowls with the inner surface towards the center;
Place large plates on the edges of the basket and small ones in the center. There should be a small gap between the plates placed in the holders so that they can be washed thoroughly with water.
Place glasses and glasses in special holders upside down so that the water flows down. Wine glasses made of fragile glass or crystal should not come into contact with the walls or with other dishes. There is a risk of the dishes breaking;
place forks, spoons, knives with handles down so that water drains better;
It is better to wash lightly soiled dishes separately from very dirty ones, especially for baking sheets, pans and pots. In this case, it is better to place the baking sheets sideways, and the pans upside down;
Do not overload the PMM; dishes should not lie piled up in it! All items must have access to water on the surface, on every plate, on every mug and spoon, otherwise, after an hour and a half of washing, the dishes will remain dirty.

Important! The rocker arms in the dishwasher should rotate freely around their axis, and the dishes should not interfere with the water splashing from these rockers.

To increase the service life of your home assistant, you need to constantly look after her. This will ensure uninterrupted operation of the equipment, and the dishwasher will always look like new. Let's list the rules of care.

After the dishes have dried and you have taken them out of the machine baskets, you need to clean the garbage filter, which is a mesh. It is located at the bottom of the dishwasher chamber. It is enough to rinse the mesh under running water, and you can install the filter back.
Particular attention should also be paid to the sealing rubber bands along the contour of the chamber; pieces of food can get stuck under them.It is necessary to wipe the rubber bands first with a damp cloth, removing any remaining food, and then walk with a dry cloth, removing moisture.
It is also advisable to wipe the walls of the dishwasher chamber with a dry cloth after each start of the machine. In addition to this, you can leave the dishwasher door open until the walls are completely dry. This will help avoid the appearance of an unpleasant odor in the future, especially if you do it regularly.
Once every three months it is necessary to completely clean the PMM. To do this, you need to turn on the machine for a long time using special anti-grease and scale agents. This procedure will ensure cleaning not only the visible parts of the machine, but also what is hidden inside, for example, hoses. When it comes to chemicals, even the cheapest and simplest descalers are suitable, and you can save money on “miraculously” cleansing tablets.
And don’t forget to wipe the outside of the dishwasher body. On it, like on any other appliances and furniture in the kitchen, dust, drops of water, and maybe drops of steam and grease settle during cooking.
