We bought this machine about two years ago. This is a narrow model, but it includes enough, not a lot, but a lot. A huge plus is that it can be simply placed, or built into furniture. The filter is naturally clogged and the water does not drain out. I tell my neighbor that dirty dishes need to be cleaned of food residues before putting them in baskets. She looked at me “like a ram at a new gate” and said in surprise: “yeah, I’ll still clean it, why do I need a dishwasher then.” In general, we talked. Such “inferior” people then write all sorts of nasty things on the Internet, and tell their friends what bad equipment they have started making. First the head should be treated!

I don’t want to talk a lot about this machine, but I will definitely say about the advantages that personally “catch” me. By the way, this is not just my opinion, my husband fully supports me, it was his initiative to write on the site about our Bosch SPS40E42RU.

1. It cleans glass just perfectly. After washing it is so clean that it looks like rock crystal. I also put glass balls from the chandelier in the dishwasher. After it, they stay clean longer and shine much more effectively.
2. When the machine first appeared in our house, I immediately washed the old “crusts” from pots, pans, cauldrons and other old metal utensils.
3. I often leave washing dishes at night because I come home late from work. But what’s surprising is that the machine is completely inaudible, even against the background of the silence of the night.
4. The baskets and trays are well made, you can feel the quality. These won’t break quickly, you can safely shove dishes into them, but without fanaticism.
5. The programs are not very long, you can set it and forget it. I usually take out dry and clean dishes in the morning and place them in the cabinets, then go to work.
6. Reasonable price, especially considering the excellent European assembly.

If I had designed this machine, I would have made the body stronger. At the very least, an additional stiffening rib is needed so that the metal sheets of the side walls do not shake. This seems like a small thing, but it spoils the overall impression of the equipment assembled in Germany. Five points!

This is the third time the specialists have repaired this machine. Maybe I was just unlucky, or I used it incorrectly. But I seem to have carefully studied the instructions, but it still breaks down consistently every two months. I'm terribly angry. All the craftsmen are surprised how my German-made machine constantly breaks down, they hint at my unluckiness, and I almost cry from resentment!

During all this time, they replaced my sprinkler, heating element and inlet valve - the money for repairs was simply a waste of money!
