Dexp washing machine error codes
Few people today are familiar with the self-diagnosis system of Dexp machines, so few know what to do when a code appears on the display. Error codes for Dexp washing machines help to quickly determine the cause of the malfunction, provided that the user has a decoding table at hand. We will analyze the main errors and the diagnostic principle, which will be especially useful for those who do not have a user manual.
List of codes with explanation
“Home assistants” from the Dexp brand are distinguished by a simple but very convenient self-diagnosis system. The fact is that it has only 13 error codes and they have a very laconic interpretation, so finding out the reason for the failure of the SM is not difficult. Here's what these codes mean.
- UE – an error has occurred with the spin cycle; there may be an imbalance of the laundry in the drum.
- IE – problem with water entering the drum.
- OE – problem with draining waste fluid.
- DE – problem with the hatch door.
- EE – no water heating.
- FE – liquid does not stop flowing into the drum.
- LE and CE – no drum rotation.
- HE – problem with the electric motor sensor.
- PE – problem with the water level sensor.
- PF – the error is related to the power supply during the operating cycle.
- F03 – no heating of the liquid.
- E06 – problems with the heating element.
In the list of causes of malfunction, two codes are responsible for one problem - LE and CE. Both errors appear when the reel is not spinning, but there are key differences. When the drum does not rotate during washing, rinsing or spinning, a code is displayed LE, and when this happens during a spin cycle, an error appears CE. The first code usually requires repair of the spider or bearings, while the second most often appears due to a faulty electric motor.
Testing the Dexp machine
If your equipment periodically displays an error code, which then temporarily disappears, then you need to find the reason for this behavior and conduct a thorough diagnosis of Dexp household appliances. You can do this yourself without calling a service center specialist, because the manufacturers have built a special test into the SM self-diagnosis system. What should I do to activate it?
- Turn on the machine.
- Press and hold two buttons: Options and Temperature.
- While holding these two keys, press the power button to start test mode.
- Wait until the diagnostic program starts before releasing the temperature and options buttons.
- Rotate the program selector to alternately test different parts of the washing machine.
- When you finish the test, press the power button to turn off the device.
Try to conduct the most complete test of the device in order to check each key component and accurately determine the cause of the malfunction.
Such testing allows you to check the performance of each element inside the “home assistant”. The test will show the efficiency of the electric motor at high and low speeds, the operation of the valve and drain pump, the speed of liquid intake and drainage, pressure switch, heating element, hatch blocking device, tachogenerator and temperature sensor. That’s why you should never neglect diagnostics, because you can check everything yourself and not waste money on calling a technician.
I have Dexp, after washing the error code F-04 appears. What to do?
Yesterday it was exactly the same. I changed the heating element and everything worked.
