What happened to the machine?

Error code i30 indicates that the Aquastop leak protection system has activated. In rare cases, it may work spontaneously, but most often it actually prevents leaks, protecting the floors of the owner of the AEG Home Helper.

The first thing you need to do when error i30 appears is to disconnect the equipment from the power supply to protect yourself from electric shock. Then you need to disconnect the machine from the water supply and sewerage in order to easily pull it out of the niche and provide free access.

Rotate the AEG dishwasher to examine its tray. If liquid was found there, then the leakage protection system actually worked. If there is no liquid, then you need to look for the cause in the inlet hose. If the protection has worked on it, you need to change the hose.

It’s easy to fix this problem - you just need to turn off the water supply, remove the aquastop hose and install a new one in its place. In a situation where your dishwasher has an electromagnetic system, you will also have to first connect the wire to the sensor that monitors leaks. This wiring comes from the base of the sensor, installed near the fill valve of the household appliance.

What to do if there is water in the pan?

• Unscrew the bolts from the rear panel of the PMM to remove the cover. Slide it back and put it to the side.
• Remove the decorative bottom panel, which is secured with latches. It is more convenient to disconnect them using a flat-head screwdriver, after tilting the body slightly back and opening the washing chamber door slightly so that it does not interfere.
• Remove the screws from the back of the AEG dishwasher that hold the sides in place. They are located not only on the back of the “home assistant”, but also on top, as well as on the sides under the decorative panel.
• Now you can remove the side walls along with the soundproofing material.
• Turn the machine upside down, remembering to first wipe off all the liquid inside the washing chamber with a dry cloth, and also remove all the dish baskets, rocker arms and filters from it.
• Unscrew the bottom panel of the unit, which hides the pan and all the key elements of the AEG PMM.
• Move aside the plastic element of the pallet, which is secured with screws installed around the perimeter of the entire pallet. It hides the dishwasher parts we need, so it definitely needs to be removed.
• Unclip the clamps securing the electric motor and the filling valve - this also needs to be done in order to remove the plastic part of the pan.

• Remove the drain hose held in place by another plastic clip.
• Disconnect the power terminals.
