Replacing the heating element can also be done by yourself. In most models of Atlant washing machines, the heating element is located at the back, under the tank. Therefore, you will have to disassemble the machine as little as possible, unscrewing only the back wall. Before removing the heating element from its seat, you need to disconnect the sensor and wires, and also loosen the holding bolt. Only after this, use loosening movements to pull the part towards you. After cleaning the area under the heating element from dirt, you can install a new one by performing all the steps in reverse order.
