Is the toy dryer compatible?

First of all, let’s find out whether drying soft toys in automatic mode is acceptable. This depends only on the product and must be checked using the label, which must be present on the toy. For example, if the label shows a circle in a square with two crossed out lines, then the toy is strictly prohibited from being processed in the dryer. Do not dry the toy in the dryer

But it is not always possible to find such instructions on the label, because sometimes there are no labels on plush pets - a child could tear them off, or they were not originally on the product. In this case, you should look for packaging that may contain care information, or carefully examine the toy itself, evaluating it according to a number of parameters.

Inspect the product for glued parts. If it has such elements, then it is better not to dry soft toys in the dryer, as parts may fall off due to poor-quality glue. The glue may also melt or even ignite.

If there are no exact data on washing and drying soft toys, then it is permissible to try drying your plush pet in the dryer on the most gentle program. Do not move far from household appliances to observe the operation and condition of the toy. After about 15 minutes, you can stop the cycle and check the product - if everything is fine with it, then you can dry it on a full working cycle.

What to do if the dryer is “contraindicated”?

When it is necessary to wash and dry a teddy pet that is not allowed to be processed in the automatic cycle of household appliances, extreme care should be taken. Use expert advice to avoid accidentally damaging your toy.

Under no circumstances should you squeeze the toy with force; you should remove it from the basin or washing machine and carefully run it with your hands from top to bottom.
Additionally, you can squeeze it out by lightly pressing it from above, after laying it on a horizontal surface.
Then the soft toy should be wrapped in a thick fabric that does not fade, or in a terry towel to get rid of any remaining moisture.
After these procedures, your child’s plush pet should be left in a horizontal position, for example, on a clothes dryer.

Toys should only be dried in well-ventilated rooms, otherwise their filling may acquire an unpleasant musty odor.

Be sure to comb the pile of the product with a wide-tooth comb.
From time to time, turn the toy over and shake it so that it dries on all sides and its filling does not form into dense clumps.
Under no circumstances leave the product to dry on a radiator, stove, or in direct sunlight, as this will cause it to fade.
