How to install a Bosch washing machine yourself

Let's start getting acquainted!

Preparing for installation

Before you install and connect your newly purchased machine, you should prepare it. You also need to prepare the place for connection and communication. If you plan to place a Bosch washing machine in the bathroom, kitchen or any other place, you should take care of this at the stage of rough repairs. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

If you decide to install a new Bosch machine with your own hands, first remove it from the factory packaging and carefully read the instructions, which will definitely be in the box. Open the package carefully, as you will keep it for the entire warranty period.

Immediately after delivery of the washing machine, check that the box contains all the components stated in the instructions.
Unscrew the transport bolts, turning the machine with the back wall towards you.
Plug the remaining holes from the bolts with special plugs, which should be included in the kit.
Open the hatch door and check that there are no foreign objects in the drum of the machine.
Open the powder tray and check that there is nothing inside.
Check that the debris filter located at the bottom of the housing is screwed in all the way.

On the front wall of the Bosch machine, at the very bottom, there is a small hatch. When you open it, you will find a garbage filter.

At this stage, you should already have a place ready for the washing machine. The base must be level and strong. There should be no interior items located in front of the washing machine, nothing that could interfere with opening and closing the hatch of the Bosch washing machine. Prepare an adjustable wrench, FUM tape, pliers, a building level and automotive sealant and start connecting the Bosch machine yourself.

Electrical supply organization and testing

The socket is taken special, with a housing protected from moisture. The socket that is installed in the bathroom should be of especially high quality. The electrical wire must have three wires: phase, neutral, ground. Be sure to ground the outlet for your safety. Do not connect the washing machine through extension cords and tees. The machine is a large consumer, and poor contact can cause a fire. Let's check the machine. Insert the power cord plug into the socket. Open the tee tap and run a test wash on fast mode. We do the first launch without powder and without underwear. If the program completes correctly, then everything is in order, you can put the “home assistant” into full operation.

As we can see, connecting a Bosch washing machine is not so difficult, provided that all communications have been prepared in advance. If you take on the connection without proper preparation, then you will most likely fail.
