Instructions for washing machine Indesit IWSC 5105

instructions for Indesit IWSC 5105Indesit washing machines are one of the most budget-friendly machines on the Russian market, for example, the Indesit IWSC 5105 model. At first glance, it seems that it is simple to operate, but before turning on the new device, it is better to read the instructions. We offer a short version of the instruction manual.

How to connect?

After unpacking the washing machine, take your time to plug it in and connect the hoses. After delivery, you need to unscrew the transport bolts from the machine, due to which the moving parts were fixed. These bolts are located on the rear side. Only after this can you park the washing machine in a pre-prepared place, according to the requirements:

  • leveled and reinforced floor;
  • lack of carpeting, as well as coatings that are susceptible to moisture;

    It is preferable to install the machine on a tiled or concrete floor; you can also install the equipment on a plank floor, but only a reinforced one.

  • the presence of water supply, sewerage and an electrical outlet within 1-1.2 m;
  • There should be enough space for the machine so that objects do not touch the back and side walls, and the hatch opens freely.

Connecting the washing machine to the water supply will not take much time if you have previously installed tee tap or a separate water supply pipe is installed. All that remains is to screw one end of the inlet hose to the tee tap to the ¾ thread, not forgetting to put the O-ring. The second bent end is screwed to the machine itself. There is no need to stretch the hose or extend it; in this case, you need to purchase a longer hose.

The waste water can be drained through a siphon or through a bathtub by securing the end of the drain hose to the edge with a special latch. However, draining water through a siphon will be more correct and safer. And for this, the siphon must have an outlet on which the drain hose can be secured with a clamp.

The upper drain point is fixed at a distance of at least 65 cm and no more than 100 cm from the floor to avoid self-draining.

When it comes to connecting to electricity, a number of safety regulations must be observed. It is better to invite a specialist who will install a wire with a cross-section of at least 1.5 square meters. mm and install a moisture-resistant socket. For the Indesit IWSC 5105 washing machine, the instructions do not describe this process in detail, but if you are interested, read the article Connecting the washing machine to electricity.

Control Panel Features

Washing machines of the same brand have different models, which suggests that they differ from each other. The main difference lies in the features of the control panel, the variety of programs and drum loading. The Indesit IWSC 5105 machine has a mechanical control panel on which three selectors and 6 buttons are located.control panel Indesit 5105

The largest selector (on the left) is needed to select programs. The other two allow you to adjust the water heating temperature from 20 to 90 degrees and the spin speed from 400 to 1000. The ON/OFF button turns the machine on and off, the Start/Pause button starts and stops the washing program. The remaining 4 buttons are needed to select additional functions (from left to right):

  1. EcoTime is a function that reduces washing time, saving water and electricity. Recommended for lightly soiled items.
  2. Bleaching is a mode of washing white clothes using a special bleaching agent, but only without chlorine.
  3. Additional rinse. This feature is especially useful for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Not applicable with Express wash 15 minutes.
  4. Delay stratum – the ability to delay the start of the program up to 12 hours. The time is selected by repeatedly pressing the button towards decreasing the time. Can be used with any program.

To the left of the control panel there is a detergent dispenser, on which a description of the washing programs is written. The distributor itself has three stationary compartments: the left one is used for preliminary washing, the central one is used for the main wash. The compartment on the right is used for fabric softeners; some do not add conditioners, and therefore do not use this compartment. This model also has a “mobile” compartment, which is inserted into the compartment on the left; whitening products are poured into it.

In addition, the control panel is equipped with indicators that notify you at what stage the wash is at and what function has been selected.

A lit lock indicator notifies you that the drum door is locked; it can remain on for up to 3 minutes until it is unlocked, so do not pull the door too early, as you may break the lock.
