Search for a sensor

Checking the element

You just need to find a tube of the same diameter as the fitting, unhook the pressure hose from the sensor, place it near the device and blow lightly. Then we listen. If the pressure switch is working properly, then the contacts will definitely work and 2-3 clicks will be heard. When the device is “silent”, repair will not help - only a full replacement.
Diagnostics continues by inspecting the part. It is necessary to check whether the housing with hoses is damaged and whether the tube is clogged. It is likely that excessive deposits knock down the sensor, so we wash it under running water. Lastly, we check the pressure switch with a multimeter. We turn on the tester in resistance mode, attach the probes to the contacts and evaluate the indicators. Normally, the values change when the sensor is triggered.
You can try to adjust a faulty sensor.To do this, tighten the bolts at the contacts, determining the correct parameters for each program. But it’s better not to experiment, but to entrust this task to professionals.
