Error E01 on a Vestel washing machine

During the washing process, the Vestel machine may suddenly stop working and issue error code E01. On models equipped with a display, the user will immediately see the error symbol. Equipment that does not have a screen will indicate a malfunction by flashing two indicators - “Start/Pause” and “Rinse Delay”. unscrew the two fixing bolts;
bend the edge of the drum cuff;
put your hand behind the body;
remove the UBL;
disconnect the power supply from the device.

Place one multimeter probe against the neutral contact, the second against the phase. If a three-digit number is displayed on the screen, then everything is fine. Afterwards, attach the first probe of the tester to the neutral contact, the second to the common one. The device is faulty if the multimeter shows 1 or 0.

It happens that the tester did not detect a breakdown, but blocking does not occur. It is necessary to inspect the lock directly; the reason probably lies in a worn-out bimetallic element. The part cannot be repaired; you must purchase a new UBL to replace it.
