The Russian-language control panel on a Bosch washing machine is not always present, which confuses its owners. And if you can somehow figure out the modes, then searching for buttons for additional options turns into a real quest. Most often, owners of such household appliances look for the extra rinse icon - a very important option that allows you to clean clothes from residues of washing powder.

To find the extra rinse icon that allows you to turn on the required mode, you should carefully examine the home assistant control panel. Most often, the necessary option is presented in the form of a button with an image of a basin filled with water. Above it there is an arrow pointing exclusively upward. In this case, only water should be drawn in the basin, without soap suds, hands, temperature symbols and other similar symbols.

An alternative option is a basin filled with water and a plus sign located above it.

The required button may be located near the selector for selecting a program mode, or next to the control panel lock. It’s easy to turn on additional rinsing - just press the desired button or the image itself if the panel is completely electronic. The activation of the desired function will be indicated by a sound signal or a lit indicator.

The first sign is made in the form of an empty dial, both hands of which are located at the “12” mark. This means a full wash cycle lasting 1 hour. The second sign contains a quarter filled with risks, informing the owner about the fast wash cycle, which will take no more than 15 minutes. Both modes allow you to independently set the temperature and spin intensity.

When setting a higher temperature regime, the owner of a household appliance should be prepared for the fact that the washing time may increase slightly, since the washing machine may take more time to heat the water to the desired temperature.

• pre-wash (icon 2) – allows you to soak the laundry for several hours for better subsequent cleaning;
• light ironing (icon 3) – gently wrings things out and leaves them a little damp, which makes further care of them easier;
• additional rinse (icon 4) – applicable to any mode.

Extra rinse can be used as a separate function, regardless of the care regimen. This is convenient for items that only need to be refreshed in clean water, without pre-washing. Also, any Bosch washing machine is equipped with an on/off button for the household appliance, which has a specific diamond shape with a vertical stripe in the middle.
