All new Asko brand washing machines have a useful imbalance control function. It allows you to monitor overloads due to centrifugal force during the operating cycle. Therefore, if the system detects an imbalance in the Asko washing machine, the control module will stop the washing and display the corresponding error code on the dashboard. What to do when the problem appears?

Try opening the SM door to break up the lump of clothes in the drum. Sometimes small things get packed into large ones, for example, duvet covers, which is why an imbalance appears. In this case, you need to evenly distribute the clothes in the drum, drain the waste liquid and start the spin cycle again. Why does the error appear?

The bolts protect the washer tank during transportation, so if you run a work cycle with them, the shock absorbers will not be able to compensate for the negative impact of the centrifugal force that is created by the rotating drum.Because of this, the “home assistant” may even fail, so shipping bolts should never be left in the equipment after delivery.

Running a wash with these clips will void the warranty, so they must be removed before the first cycle.

Incorrect installation. The Asko washing machine must be placed stably, because this will reduce vibration and the risk of imbalance. It is best to place the device on a concrete or tile floor, and then carefully adjust it to the building level by adjusting the legs. Special attachments on the legs or an anti-vibration mat will help improve the quality of installation - these devices reduce the risk of household appliances slipping during vibration. Damaged dampers. One of the main components in a washing machine that can eliminate vibration and imbalance is shock absorbers. If they fail due to worn gaskets or loose fasteners, they will require urgent replacement. It is very easy to verify the need for replacement - just remove the top panel of the machine and press on the tank. If it begins to sway chaotically instead of jumping a few centimeters once and stopping almost immediately, then the purchase of new dampers is required.
Failed counterweights. Concrete blocks, usually placed in the washing machine body on the top, side, and bottom, also help eliminate vibration, so that the tank is properly fixed on all sides. If the counterweights are deformed or destroyed, then the vibration will get out of control, the device will begin to jump violently, and the concrete blocks will begin to loudly bang against other SM components.To check the elements, you need to remove the top or back wall of the case and inspect the counterweights. If the retaining bolts have become loose or chips with cracks have formed, then heavy concrete blocks must be carefully replaced without damaging other components of household appliances in the process.

The counterweights can also be restored if the cracks are not too large - to do this, the damaged areas must be generously covered with cement mortar and PVA glue.

Faulty bearing assembly. Finally, if the bearing breaks, you will notice not only an imbalance, but also a slowdown in the rotation of the drum during operation, as well as a strong clanging sound.
