But what is relevant for large cities may not be relevant for small towns and villages, which foreign manufacturers of household appliances did not think about at all. Therefore, a situation often occurs that due to old water supply systems that cannot provide even the minimum pressure programmed by the manufacturers, the dishwasher simply refuses to work, giving an error.

Low pressure in the water supply can lead not only to failure of the dishwasher, but also to excessively slow water supply, as well as poor rinsing of detergents after use, which will seriously impair the quality of dishwashing.

Equipment from LG, Samsung, Zanussi, Electrolux and Daewoo begins to work normally with water pressure from 0.4 bar. In rare cases, some models of dishwashers of these brands are equipped with inlet valves that accept pressure as low as 0.5 bar, but this still depends only on the software.
For equipment from Beko, AEG, Ariston, Candy, Indesit, as well as Whirlpool, the current pressure figure is 0.5 bar. It should be borne in mind that a number of Indesit devices function normally even at lower pressure.
