Review of partially built-in dishwashers 45 cm
Many users have appreciated the 45 cm partially built-in dishwashers. Why are they preferred? There are many reasons and we will definitely discuss them. We will also make a review in which we will include high-quality partially built-in models of “home assistants”. And we will publish several reviews left by their owners. Don't miss it, it will be interesting!
Features of these machines
Some people still don’t know the difference between a partially built-in dishwasher and a fully built-in dishwasher. A fully built-in machine, as the name suggests, is completely hidden in the furniture. Its control panel is located at the end of the door, so to select a program and make other settings, the user needs to open the door.
For a partially built-in machine, the control panel is located above the door, so settings can be made regardless of whether it is opened or closed. A furniture facade can also be hung on a partially built-in dishwasher, but it, naturally, will not cover the control panel, and it will remain visible. If you are a supporter of the point of view that kitchen appliances should not peek out from behind the furniture, such a machine will not suit you; you need to choose a fully built-in model. But if you like to see the machine's program progress and change settings as the cycle progresses, you need a machine with an open control panel.
It is also worth mentioning that among partially built-in dishwashers, the vast majority are full-size. Models with a narrow body 45 cm wide are rare, although they are by far the most popular.Perhaps over time, manufacturers will adjust the offer, but for now we will work with what we have.
In our review we will present 4 PMM models with a 45 cm body. We will carefully consider their characteristics.
Bosch SRI 45T16
A simple and rather unusual partially built-in dishwasher with a 45 cm body. Most often it is sold in a dark gray body. Its control panel is black. This machine will fit perfectly into a kitchen with stylish black furniture. The machine's baskets hold 9 sets of dishes. Water consumption is quite large - 13 liters per cycle.
- There is electronic control.
- There is protection from child intervention.
- You can delay the start of a program for up to 19 hours in 1-hour increments.
- The machine is completely protected from leakage.
- The technology is capable of recognizing 3-in-1 tablets.
This model is not the noisiest, but not the quietest either. During operation, it is capable of delivering up to 47 dB. Bosch SRI 45T16 is special due to the presence of a heat exchanger, flow-through heating element, wave-shaped rocker arms and a self-cleaning filter.
Kaiser S 45 U 71 XL
A much more advanced model with a 45 cm body. The machine also has a control panel located above the door. The washing chamber holds 10 sets of dishes. Kaiser S 45 U 71 XL has electronic controls and a modern informative display. The memory of the control module contains 7 washing modes, including a popular program for washing fragile items.
The machine has few additional functions. The list is limited to a delayed start timer and a leakage protection system. There are indicators to notify you that the rinse aid or salt has run out. The model comes in a beautiful silver case.
Electrolux ESI 4620 RAX
A narrow, partially built-in dishwasher from a well-known manufacturer.The baskets can accommodate 9 sets of dishes at a time. The model is quite economical. In one cycle, it spends about 9.9 liters of water and only 0.7 kW/h of electricity. The user settings of the Electrolux ESI 4620 RAX are quite rich. There are as many as 6 washing programs and 4 temperature settings. The range of additional functions is not limited to a timer and leakage protection. The “arsenal” includes:
- sensor that monitors water quality;
- sensor detecting 3 in 1 products;
- a speaker that beeps when the program ends;
- special holder for glasses;
- internal illumination of the washing chamber;
- height-adjustable baskets and tray.
Bosch Serie 4 SPI 50X95
And this German “home assistant” from Bosch of the fourth series is a strong middle peasant among modern dishwashers. It is quite reliable and holds 9 sets of dishes. The narrow body allows this partially built-in machine to fit even into a small kitchen. The dishwasher is characterized by the presence of protection against child intervention, a delay start system, protection against water leaks, a sensor that monitors the purity of the water, and a 3-in-1 module.
The machine has a double rocker arm, which is located above the upper box. This innovative arm washes cutlery and small dishes much more efficiently. Bosch Serie 4 SPI 50X95 is equipped with a modern glass holder and adjustable baskets with special grooves for plates.

I purchased an Electrolux ESI 4620 RAX from a nearby hardware store about 1 year ago. The equipment still works flawlessly to this day; there have been no breakdowns during all this time. The machine does not wash dishes perfectly in all cases, although I fundamentally do not use expensive detergents.I give it five points!

Bosch Serie 4 SPI 50X95 did not impress me at all. I’ve been using it for the second month now and I can say that it doesn’t wash dishes very well. I was advised to find out water hardness for dishwasher, they say, if you adjust the water hardness correctly, the equipment will work better. I don’t understand why such a simple machine should have such fine settings. In my opinion, the manufacturer is simply fooling customers. I am not satisfied!

I really liked the Kaiser S 45 U 71 XL, amazing results. True, I expected to save a little with the help of the machine, but in fact Kaiser is taking money. What are the real savings? First of all, in time. Every day I have about 30 minutes freed up to do my own things. I recommend to all!
