The mystery of bio-washing

Recently, washing powders have been gaining popularity, the packaging of which contains the inscription: “contains enzymes.” Enzymes are active substances that are added to laundry detergent and are activated during washing. Their function is to wash away serious organic contaminants, usually from food: tea, coffee, juice, vegetables, sauces, as well as human waste products - sweat or blood. This process of activating enzymes is called “bio-washing”. Obviously, this product can be used in automatic washing machines, but is it necessary to select a special program for this?

Important! The main requirements for the bio-washing mode are the water temperature: it should not be higher than 40 degrees. In hot water, enzymes lose their active properties and are useless.

Silk. Silk fabrics can be washed at a temperature of 30-40 degrees for an hour.This program is similar in parameters to bio-washing and can act as its alternative.
Preliminary. Also an ideal option for replacing bio-washing. The two-hour cycle consists of 2 stages. First, the laundry is kept in water at a temperature of 30 degrees, and then washed according to a given cycle at high temperature.
